This Week in Parliament 07/05/2018

On Monday I sadly had to attend the funeral of a local campaigner, Dave Clucas. He was a stalwart of the party who helped me in many campaigns and was always a friendly face you enjoyed having out on the campaign trail. He will be dearly missed by all.

On Tuesday, I attended an update on Negotiations on the EU (Withdrawal) Bill.

On Wednesday, I attended the Finance and Constitution Committee. I later attended the chamber for the Stage 3: Social Security (Scotland) Bill.

On Monday I held a surgery at the Banchory Business Centre - always great to meet with constituents and take forward their concerns.

On the weekend I spent a day with my daughter cleaning up litter in Banchory. It is important that communities start to take the initiative of keeping their local environment clean by picking up litter and bringing it home with them to dispose of.

 On Monday, I went to visit the Oil and Gas Innovation Centre (OGIC) in Aberdeen. The OGIC brings top quality research and development expertise to the oil and gas industry’s innovation challenges.

This Week in Parliament: 05/03/2018

On Tuesday I had a meeting with Airbus representatives on the First Stages of the H160 helicopter to active duty over the North Sea. I later attended the Ministerial Statement on Scotland’s plan to tackle climate change and reduce emissions.
