Aberdeen Lockdown Restrictions

Following the announcement earlier today that Aberdeen has entered a local lockdown, it is important that people familiarise themselves with the new restrictions that are in place to prevent the spread of the virus.

Results Helpline!

The Skills Development Scotland (SDS) Results Helpline will be open from 8am on Tuesday 4th August as pupils across Scotland receive their results.

Eat Out to Help Out

From today, Monday 3rd August until Monday 31st, diners will receive 50% off food and drink up to £10.

With almost 4,000 Scottish restaurants participating in Eat Out to Help Out, the UK Government’s scheme will help revitalise our local economy and hospitality industry.

Walking and Cycling Routes

Throughout the pandemic it has been great to see people doing more walking and cycling! 

Face Mask Exemptions

It is now mandatory to wear face masks in shops and on public transport in Scotland. However some people are exempt from wearing a face mask, for example if they have a health condition, disability, or rely on lip-reading.

Support Local Businesses

It is great that shops, cafes and restaurants were allowed to open this week. Now more than ever it is important that we support small businesses and our local economy.

Register for the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme!

Applications are now open for you to register your business for the UK Government’s new ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme.

The scheme will offer diners a 50% discount every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 3 to 31 August 2020, and you can claim the money back from the government.
