Katrina was first elected to serve Aboyne, Upper Deeside and Donside at the 2012 Aberdeenshire Council elections. She has lived in Aberdeenshire all her life, firstly at Braemar and then at Crathie where her family still farm today. She now lives in Logie Coldstone with her husband on the family farm.Prior to being elected as a Councillor she was directly elected by residents to sit on the Cairngorms National Park Authority, a role which she continues in today.
Jill was elected to serve Banchory & Mid Deeside in 2007. Before that she was Councillor for Mid Deeside which covered the areas to the west end of Banchory, Tilqhillie, Blackhall, Deebank, Inchmarlo, Glassel, Kincardine O’Neil, Strachan, Torphins.
Wendy has lived in Stonehaven all her life, attending Dunnottar School and Mackie Academy. She currently manages an insurance company in Stonehaven.In 2003 Wendy was elected to represent Stonehaven south and in 2007 and 2012 she was elected as Councillor for the larger multi-member ward of Stonehaven & Lower Deeside.Wendy has been a leading campaigner for more flood prevention measures in Stonehaven, and acts as the flood warden for the High Street area.
Ian was born and raised in Alyth, Perthshire, where his family farmed raspberries and strawberries. He holds a degree in geology from St Andrews and a doctorate in palaeontology from Bristol University. He interned at Harvard and the Smithsonian Institution in the US, and was a teaching fellow at Bristol before joining BP as a policy analyst, specialising in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Republics.
Ron McKail was first elected in 2007 as one of 4 Councillors serving Westhill and District.Ron has lived in Westhill for over 20 years. Prior to his election as councillor for Westhill & District he was the Chairman of the Westhill Residents’ Association. He is also Chairman of the Garioch and North Marr Community safety group and a committed campaigning for road safely, in particular for young drivers.He is also a founding member and Treasurer of Westhill's Mens' Shed.
Margo Stewart was recently elected to Huntly, Strathbogie and Howe of Alford in a by-election held in November 2015.Margo Stewart has been an active member of the local community for many years, being involved in Macmillan Cancer Support, her local church and a supply teacher at The Gordon Schools.She lives with her husband and helps with running their farm at Cocklarachy.
Moira Ingleby was first elected as Councillor for Huntly, Strathbogie and Howe of Alford in 2007. Previously she had served as Councillor for Huntly East.Moira has lived in the area with her husband and children for over 30 years.
