On Monday I held a surgery at Banchory Business Centre. I also had the chance to visit Banchory Primary School. I spoke with students and answered questions they had about my job and parliament.

On Monday, I attended the Finance and Constitution Committee meeting, in the meeting we agreed to the Draft Budget 2018-2019 report.

15/01/2018 - This Week in Parliament

On Monday, our Finance and Constitutions Committee met in Aberdeen. I was delighted to be able to examine the Scottish Government’s draft budget for 2018-2019. We also split into workshop groups to look at the impact of Brexit on the Government’s local communities spending decisions.

On Monday, I held a surgery at the Banchory Business Centre where I met with constituents and listened to local concerns.

On Tuesday evening, I attended event titled “Asking if Scottish Ports are ready for Decommissioning” before heading off to the Holyrood magazine Christmas party.

On Tuesday, I held a meeting with Innogy Renewables to discuss ways on how to ensure that Scotland is at the forefront of green energy and renewable technology.
