Lack of Support for Youth Organisations

I am incredibly disappointed with the SNP’s response to my call for third sector funding for youth organisations, which have not been eligible for grants that have been offered to other charities.

It is incredibly disappointing that the SNP have backtracked on their promise to provide 1,140 hours of free childcare – for at least another year!

Our councils are underfunded and facing significant challenges from the coronavirus pandemic.

Playparks are Reopening!

Today, Monday 29th June Aberdeenshire Council are reopening all playparks across Aberdeenshire!

This will be great news for many families. Hopefully we will see a return to sunny weather so that our children can enjoy the outdoors! 

Rise in Crime

Unfortunately, there has been a worrying increase in crime across Aberdeenshire this past month.

With communities suffering from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, the SNP Government need to ensure that communities feel safe as we ease out of lockdown.
