During Invasive Non-Native Species Awareness Week, I had the privilege of discussing a critical issue of controlling grey squirrels to safeguard our precious native red squirrel population with BASC Scotland.

As the species champion for the red squirrel in the Scottish Parliament, I strongly believe that we must prioritise effective management of grey squirrels, to protect our beloved red squirrels. I had some beautiful red squirrel visitors recently who I managed to snap a photo of.
