Scottish Government Debate: Support for Scotland's Renewables

On Tuesday I attended a meeting for the Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform committee.Later I went a parliamentary reception held by ADS Scotland highlighting the role of apprentices in science and engineering.

 

28/11 This Week in Parliament

On Tuesday I attended a meeting of the Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform committee and a session on SRUC Rural Policy Centre’s Rural Scotland in Focus 2016.  I also went to events by ABB on sustainable energy strategy and the British Psychological Society on head injuries. 

21/11 This Week in Parliament

Monday I visited the Oil and Gas Technology Centre to meet with CEO Colette Cohen.I also met with Roger Esson, Chief Executive of Decom North Sea.

 

14/11 This Week in Parliament

On Monday I met with Ben Sinclair, a local entrepreneur providing work for the disabled community at Craft Work in Aboyne.

Keep Banchory in Deeside

A campaign has been launched to keep Banchory within the Deeside and Gordon constituency for future Westminster elections.

Recommendations in the Boundary Review would incorporate Banchory within a new Kincardine and Angus East constituency.

Tuesday I attended a meeting for the Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee.  During a chamber debate regarding the Species Champions Initiative re-launch I discussed my species sponsorship of the Freshwater Pearl Mussel; follow this link for the video:

On Monday I met with Sam Gomersall, Commercial Director for Pale Blue Dot Energy.

Tuesday I attended an Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform committee meeting.  Also, I went to a Transition Training Fund Drop-In session hosted by Skills Development Scotland.
