My Activities over Recess

The Parliament was on recess for two weeks, beginning on Saturday 7th October. Over the weekend, I helped out with Lesly Berry’s campaign for the Inverurie by-election.

02/10/2017: This Week in Parliament

On Tuesday, I attended the Royal High School Preservation Trust and St Mary’s Music School Harmony’s Musical Parliamentary Reception.

18/09/2017: This Week in Parliament

On Monday, I held street surgeries for my constituents in Kemnay, where I listened to their concerns.

On Tuesday I met with the Ombudsman services to discuss how they currently aid with consumer complaints in the energy and communications market.

On Tuesday, I attended a briefing session on the safety of civil nuclear operating sites hosted by Paul Wheelhouse MSP.

04/09/17: This Week in Parliament

On Tuesday, I attended the First Minister’s statement on the Scottish Government’s Programme for 2017-2018, where she reiterated that she would not rule out another independence referendum.

This Week in Parliament 26/6/17

On Monday I held a surgery in Banchory where constituents attended with local concerns.


On Tuesday I attended my last meeting of the Environment, Climate Change, and Land Reform Committee.
