Tuesday I attended a meeting for the Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee. During a ministerial statement: Unconventional Oil and Gas, I questioned the SNP’s lack of a forthcoming decision regarding fracking and other opportunities for the Scottish energy industry. That evening I went to an event on the Future of Housing Policy in Scotland.
On Wednesday I met with Tahir Taghizadeh, Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan. I also attended an event about Fire Safety in the Home.
Thursday I met with Kate Houghton from Royal Town Planning Institute Scotland to discuss planning system reforms. Later I attended a meeting for the Species Champion Initiative.
On Friday I attended a briefing by Shell which was given by Paul Goodfellow, Upstream Director UK and Ireland.
